Software Engineer

The software engineer would work on various projects ranging from firmware in products to application and database development. Example tasks might include microcontroller development in C, working with real time operating systems, developing user level applications, and doing web development in a Linux, Apache, MySQL, and Ruby on Rails environment. Ability to adapt and acquire different skills is a requirement due to the varied nature of the work. A BS degree in computer science or computer engineering is required.

Ciholas Technologies was founded in 1993 as a one person design consultancy focused on developing sophisticated electronic products. Located in Evansville, Indiana, the company is now 12 full time employees, 10 of whom are engineers. We work on a wide range of products that include military and consumer robotics, scientific equipment, mine safety electronics, sports timing equipment, and various research and development projects.
