Ciholas has enjoyed a long and productive relationship with iRobot, Inc. Our work with iRobot dates back to the mid 1980s when we built robot electronics for indoor platforms and continues to this day.
The Robot Enhanced Detection Outpost With Laser is a payload for the iRobot Packbot Explorer robot. Ciholas designed REDOWL for the Phontonics Center at Boston University. The payload is a remote deployable sensor suite designed to provide early warning information, gunshot detection, intelligence surveillance and targeting capabilities to military forces and government agencies.
The Web Based I/O Controller was developed as a general purpose web enabled controller that could be used throughout our facilities for various tasks. The controller provides easy access to a bank of 24 switchable 1A 30VDC relays and 32 individually controllable I/O lines.
