Dan was born and raised in Elyria, Ohio. He was able to get a full ride academic scholarship to the University of Toledo. While in college, Dan was involved with the Association for Computer Machinery. Through ACM he participated in several regional programming contests. In May 2011 he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Computer Science and Engineering. Not long after graduating he started working at Ciholas as a Software Engineer.

Outside of work Dan enjoys many things. Some of these things include reading, watching movies, disk golf, tennis, camping, and all things nerdy.
